1️⃣ 哪種程式語言賺得最多?賺得最少呢?
Zig(HKD $807,158)是今年最高薪的程式語言,熱門的程式語言如Python(HKD $610,588)、Javascript(HKD $577,075)、Java(HKD $566,972)則屬於中等收入範圍。儘管PHP(HKD $458,822)是初學者的首選程式語言,但薪資排名倒數第二。

2️⃣ FullStack 開發人員的平均薪資是多少?哪個國家的收入最高?
FullStack 開發人員的平均薪資為HKD $555,372。美國(HKD $1,092,000)是Full Stack 開發人員收入最高的國家,其次是加拿大(HKD $637,325)、英國(HKD $580,913)和德國(HKD $541,550)。作為全球最大的IT中心,印度的Full Stack 開發人員平均收入為HKD $130,115。

3️⃣ 數據科學家/工程師的薪資是多少?哪個IT職位薪資最具吸引力?
數據科學家的平均薪資為HKD $719,743,而數據工程師的平均薪資為HKD $651,042。高級主管(C-Suite、副總裁等)和工程經理是IT職業中薪資最高的,平均收入為HKD $969,900。值得一提的是,區塊鏈開發人員的平均薪資為HKD $807,271,比Full Stack 開發人員高出約45%。

4️⃣ 有多少IT開發人員在家工作?
IT開發人員與混合工作模式高度整合,41%在全遠程工作,42%在混合模式下工作。只有16%需要每週五天去辦公室上班。

只有44%的開發人員目前在編程或工作中使用人工智慧。在使用人工智慧工具的準確性方面,開發人員的意見不一。大約42%的人相信工具的準確性,而31%則持保留態度。

7️⃣ IT開發人員是如何學習編程的?
雖然普遍認為程序員是通過學校或編程營學習編程的,但事實上80%的開發人員實際上是通過在線資源(例如視頻、博客、論壇)自學編程,只有50%是通過學校和在線課程學習編程。

1️⃣ Which programming language earns the most? and the least?
Zig ($103,611) is the highest-paid language to learn this year, while popular languages like Python ($78,331), JavaScript ($74,034), and Java ($72,701) fall within the median earning range. PHP ($58,899), despite being the go-to language for beginners, earns the second least.

2️⃣ What's the average salary for FullStack Developers? Which country has the highest income?
On average, FullStack Developers earn $71,140. The United States ($140,000) is the highest-paying country for FullStack Developers, followed by Canada ($81,787), the UK ($74,483), and Germany ($69,608). In India, the largest IT hub in the world, FullStack Developers earn an average of $16,694.

3️⃣ How much do Data Scientists/Engineers earn? Which IT occupation is the most lucrative?
Data Scientists earn $92,321, while Data Engineers earn $83,515. Senior Executives (C-Suite, VP, etc.) and Engineering Managers are at the top of the IT occupation food chain, earning an average of $124,500. It is also worth highlighting that Blockchain developers earn an average of $103,743, which is about 40% higher than the income of FullStack Developers.

4️⃣ How many IT Developers work from home?
IT Developers are highly integrated with hybrid work schemes, with 41% working fully remotely and 42% working in a hybrid model. Only 16% need to go to the office five days a week.

5️⃣ How many IT Developers have side jobs?
While there are market rumours suggesting that many IT professionals have side jobs, only 19% said they code outside of work as a side job.

6️⃣ What is the view of IT Developers on AI? How many use AI in coding?
Only 44% of developers are currently using AI in their coding/work. We also see developers split on their trust in the accuracy of AI output from tools, with about 42% trusting the accuracy of the output and 31% being uncertain.

7️⃣ How do IT Developers learn programming?
While there is a popular belief that programmers learn programming from school/boot camps, 80% of developers actually learn programming from online resources such as videos, blogs, and forums. Only 50% learn programming through schools and online courses.

8️⃣ Which programming language and framework are the most popular?
JavaScript is the most commonly used programming language (64%), followed by HTML/CSS (53%) and Python (49%). Professional developers use both Node.js and React fairly equally, and those learning to code use Node.js more than React (52% vs. 48%).

9️⃣ Mac vs. Windows: Which platform is preferred for IT professionals?
Windows is the most popular operating system for developers, both for personal use (60%) and professional use (47%). Mac is the second choice, with a usage rate of 33% for both personal and professional use.
